Allendale Senior Living in New Jersey is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Aide for a full-time 9:00 AM–5:00 PM shift, with every other weekend required. Daily pay is offered, and pay ranges from $15.92 to $17.50 per hour.

This role supports resident care by maintaining clean rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, following safety and infection-control guidelines, and ensuring supplies are stocked and carts organized. Join a compassionate team focused on dignity, respect, and excellence in service.

• Perform all assigned duties in accordance with established housekeeping standards, safety guidelines, and infection control practices.
• Clean assigned areas, including resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, hallways, nursing stations, handrails, dining rooms, shower rooms, public restrooms, and offices.
• Maintain utility and storage rooms in a clean, organized condition.
• Disinfect and sanitize equipment, furnishings, and supplies according to established procedures.
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment to ensure a clean and welcoming environment.
• Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, and other surfaces as assigned.
• Clean the inside of the resident room windows, door panels, and windowsills.
• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste materials to designated disposal areas.
• Maintain housekeeping carts in a clean, organized manner, stocking necessary supplies at the end of each shift, and ensuring that chemicals not in use remain securely stored.
• Follow all established safety precautions and manufacturer guidelines when handling and using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or supply needs to appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas of the facility maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and appearance.
