Allendale Senior Living and Healthcare Center is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Aide for a full-time role with a 9:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule and every-other-weekend requirement. Daily pay option is available at $15.92–$17.50 per hour, all-inclusive.

In this role, you will contribute to a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by performing room and area cleaning, following infection control practices, and supporting resident comfort and well‑being through meticulous daily care.

Responsabilidades

• Perform duties per housekeeping standards, safety guidelines, and infection control.
• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, hallways, stations, and offices.
• Maintain utility and storage rooms in clean, organized condition.
• Disinfect and sanitize equipment, furnishings, and supplies.
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, and other surfaces.
• Clean inside resident room windows, panels, and sills.
• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash to disposal areas.
• Maintain housekeeping carts, stock supplies, and securely store chemicals.
• Follow safety precautions and manufacturer guidelines when handling chemicals/equipment.
• Report maintenance concerns and safety hazards.
• Collaborate with team to maintain high cleanliness and appearance.

Responsibilities for Housekeeping Aide:

• Perform all assigned duties in accordance with established housekeeping standards, safety guidelines, and infection control practices.
• Clean assigned areas, including but not limited to resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, hallways, nursing stations, handrails, dining rooms, shower rooms, public restrooms, and offices.
• Maintain utility and storage rooms in a clean, organized, and orderly condition.
• Disinfect and sanitize equipment, furnishings, and supplies according to established procedures.
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment to ensure a clean and welcoming environment.
• Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, and other surfaces as assigned.
• Clean the inside of the resident room windows, door panels, and windowsills.
• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste materials to designated disposal areas.
• Maintain housekeeping carts in a clean, organized manner, stocking necessary supplies at the end of each shift, and ensuring that chemicals not in use remain securely stored.
• Follow all established safety precautions and manufacturer guidelines when handling and using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or supply needs to appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas of the facility maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and appearance.

Qualifications for Housekeeping Aide:

• Ability to follow established safety precautions and manufacturer instructions when using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment.
