West Village Post Acute in Greenville, SC is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper for a full-time position. The role focuses on creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, families, visitors, and staff, directly impacting quality of life at the facility.

Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Clean and maintain resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum and sanitize assigned areas.
• Clean handrails, mirrors, windows and fixtures; manage high-touch surfaces.
• Empty trash and replace liners; keep areas organized and welcoming.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures and operate cleaning equipment safely.
• Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment and storage areas; report safety concerns and supply needs.

Position Summary

The Housekeeper plays a vital role in creating a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, families, visitors, and staff. Your work directly impacts resident satisfaction and quality of life while helping maintain the high standards our facility is known for.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, and sanitize assigned areas throughout the facility
• Clean handrails, mirrors, windows, fixtures, and other high-touch surfaces
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
• Ensure resident rooms and common areas remain clean, organized, and welcoming
• Follow all infection control and safety procedures
• Safely operate housekeeping equipment and cleaning supplies
• Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas
• Report safety concerns, maintenance issues, and supply needs promptly
• Provide friendly, courteous service to residents, families, and visitors
• Work independently and as part of a team to maintain facility cleanliness standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous housekeeping experience, especially in healthcare or long-term care, is a plus
• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Good communication and interpersonal skillsReliable, organized, and team-oriented
