Job summary

HHS is seeking friendly, compassionate individuals to join our hospital housekeeping team at United Memorial Medical Center. You will provide a superior level of cleaning quality in a hospital environment and create a safe, clean, and comfortable healing space for patients.

Full-time and part-time positions with Day/Evening/Night shifts are available in Medina, NY, with an hourly pay of $17.50. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within a team-focused workplace.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Must maintain good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and wear a uniforms.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas of the hospital including patient rooms, common areas, restrooms, and more.
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of assigned areas to ensure a safe, sterile environment.
• Follow all hospital cleaning procedures and best practices.
• Provide friendly and kind service to all individuals in the hospital.
• Assist team members and management to help the department operate efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Wage: $ 17.50 /hour
• Full-time and part-time positions available
• Day/Evening/Night shifts available
• Location: UMMC Hospital Network in Medina, NY.

• Clean assigned areas of the hospital, including patient rooms, common areas, restrooms, and more
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of assigned areas
• Follow all HHS cleaning procedures and best practices
• Provide friendly and kind service to all individuals in the hospital
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment
• Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform
• Preferred: Housekeeping experience (cleaning, environmental services, custodian, janitorial, room attendant, floor care technician, hotel operations, healthcare)

Physical Requirements

• Standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift
• Pushing and pulling carts or equipment (over 100 lb.) on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shift
• Must handle chemicals including bleach, wax, and disinfectants
• Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
