Sofidel America is seeking candidates for a Housekeeping role at our Shelby, NC location. The position supports cleaning tasks across the plant to maintain a safe, sanitary environment and aligns with Sofidel’s Employee Personal Practice Policy.

The role requires an evening shift from 7:00pm to 3:00am, a high school diploma or GED, and ability to read English safety rules and manuals. Candidates should be able to lift up to 25 lbs and perform basic arithmetic as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and quality manuals in English.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in all units.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Support Good Manufacturing Practices and HACCP to promote a safe, sanitary workplace.
• Cleans conference rooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, closets, stairways and windows.
• Sweep, remove debris, clean spills, and mop floors throughout the facility.
• Regularly check trash receptacles, emptying as needed, in all areas of the site.
• Clean windows and mirrored surfaces; polish stainless steel surfaces.
• Dust fixtures, shelves, and product as needed.
• Complete logs, as directed.
• Follow safety procedures and safe work practices.
• Build positive relationships through clear and respectful communication with supervisors, colleagues, and community members.

Position Overview

Sofidel America, a global leader in tissue paper manufacturing, is rapidly expanding across the U.S. We are currently seeking candidates for Housekeeping to join our team at our Shelby, NC location. This role will perform cleaning tasks within the plant to support the company's expectations. Continuously supports Sofidel’s Employee Personal Practice Policy.

Job Responsibilities

• Support Sofidel America’s Good Manufacturing Practices and HACCP to promote a safe, sanitary and hygienically sound workplace.
• Cleans conference rooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, closets, stairways and windows.
