Job summary

Prime, Inc. is seeking a positive, hard-working person to join our Housekeeping team. This position is responsible for cleaning rooms, bathrooms, and halls in a commercial establishment.

The shift runs Wednesday through Saturday from 6pm to 6am, offering an opportunity to contribute to the upkeep of a busy property. Responsibilities include cleaning lobbies, restrooms, corridors, and common areas, handling linens and supplies, making beds in drivers' bunks, and maintaining inventory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1-3 months related experience or training preferred.
• Must maintain a strong work history and flexible weekend schedule.
• Must pass a post-offer physical and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways.
• Sorting, counting, folding, marking, and carrying linens.
• Making beds in drivers' bunks.
• Replenishing supplies as needed.
• Sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors.
• Dusting furniture; washing walls and windows.
• Transporting trash and waste to disposal area.
• Maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment.

Prime, Inc. is looking for a positive, hard-working person to join our Housekeeping team. This position is responsible for cleaning rooms, bathrooms, and halls in a commercial establishment.

Shift needed

Wednesday - Saturday 6pm-6am

Primary responsibilities will include

• Cleaning lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways.
• Sorting, counting, folding, marking, and carrying linens.
• Making beds in drivers' bunks.
• Replenishes supplies as needed.
• Sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floor.
• Cleaning rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
• Dusting furniture.
• Washing walls, ceiling, and woodwork.
• Washing windows, door panels, and sills.
• Emptying wastebasket and emptying/cleaning ashtrays.
• Transporting trash and waste to disposal area.
• Replenishing bathroom supplies.
• Maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Up to $18.00 / hour to start

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Any combination of education, training, and experience providing the following knowledge, skills, and abilities

Knowledge

Industrial cleaning experience is a plus.

Abilities

Must have a strong work history. Flexible schedule with the ability to work one weekend shift required.

Experience, Education, And Training

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements

This position requires constant standing, reaching forward and grasping; frequent walking, head turning, bending, handling, reaching and hand control. Candidate will need to lift and carry 20lbs, and also be able to push and pull 15lbs.

Working Environment

Both indoor and outdoor working environment with exposure to varying weather conditions and chemical odors.

Licensing/Certification

Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work.
