Gravitas in New York is seeking a diligent housekeeper to maintain high cleanliness and safety standards in resident areas. You will perform daily housekeeping tasks, ensure rooms meet quality checks, and support laundry duties when needed.

The role requires reliability, quick work pace, and a courteous, customer-focused attitude to support residents and staff in a healthcare-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
• Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards.
• Protect equipment and ensure no safety concerns.
• Notify superiors on damages or disturbances.
• Deal with complaints professionally and patiently.
• Check stocking levels of consumables and replace when appropriate.
• Adhere to health and safety rules and company practices.
• Cross-train in laundry and wash/dry/return resident laundry.

Responsibilities

• - Housekeeping Duties
• Experience working in Assisted Living Facilities or Nursing Homes a plus.
• Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting
• Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
• Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies or safety concerns
• Notify superiors on any damages, deficits, and disturbances
• Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
• Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate
• Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices.
• -Possible to cross train in laundry - -Wash, dry, and return resident laundry
