Job summary

Traditions-Management in Mount Vernon, OH is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to maintain clean resident rooms and common areas in our facility.

You will follow schedules, work as part of a team, learn to operate laundry equipment, and uphold safety standards. Prior healthcare or commercial housekeeping experience is preferred; retirement plan and PTO offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Reliable and able to follow a schedule.
• Healthcare or commercial housekeeping experience preferred (1 year).
• Ability to work varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms and common areas.
• Perform housekeeping tasks with attention to detail.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety throughout assigned areas.
• Ensure equipment is clean and operating.
• Assist with laundry and trash removal.

Job description

Housekeeper Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must be experienced at cleaning with a keen eye for details
• Perform housekeeping chores in Resident rooms
• Responsible for cleaning common areas of the facility
• Maintains a high level of cleanliness & safety throughout designated areas
• Ensure that all equipment is clean and in working condition at all times
• Removal of trash & soiled linens. Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds
• Must be able to work as a team member
• Solid work ethic, with initiative for quality and customer service
• Ability to learn how to operate commercial laundry equipment

Housekeeper Qualifications and Skills:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
• Must be Reliable and Keep to a Schedule
• May Need to Work a Varied Schedule, as requested
• Healthcare or Commercial Laundry: 1 year (Preferred)
• Healthcare or Commercial Housekeeping: 1 year (Preferred)
