Formación

Responsabilidades

• Clean and maintain locker rooms, restrooms, dining areas, offices, fitness facilities, and common areas.
• Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and sanitize assigned areas.
• Replenish restroom and housekeeping supplies as needed.
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and supply shortages promptly.
• Ensure all areas meet club cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Follow safety procedures and proper chemical handling practices.
• Provide courteous interactions with members, guests, and fellow team members.

Pay Range (based on experience): $18 to $21

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at a prestigious private country club in Melbourne, Florida. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall experience enjoyed by our members and guests.

The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, maintains high standards of cleanliness, and understands the importance of professionalism and discretion in a private club environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain locker rooms, restrooms, dining areas, offices, fitness facilities, and common areas.
• Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and sanitize assigned areas.
• Replenish restroom and housekeeping supplies as needed.
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and supply shortages promptly.
• Ensure all areas consistently meet club cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Follow established safety procedures and proper chemical handling practices.
• Provide courteous interactions with members, guests, and fellow team members.

Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, hotel, resort, healthcare, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform physical activities including standing, bending, pushing, and walking for extended periods.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Experience:

• Country club, hotel, resort, healthcare, or luxury hospitality environment.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Experience working in customer-facing environments.

Education :

• Highschool diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements:

Standing and Walking:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per shift).
  Frequent movement between rooms and floors.

Lifting and Carrying:

• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull objects up to 25–40 lbs, such as laundry baskets, vacuum cleaners, and cleaning supplies.

Bending, Kneeling, and Reaching:

• Regularly required to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, and reach overhead or below waist level to clean various surfaces and spaces.

Repetitive Motion:

• Repetitive hand and arm movements while scrubbing, dusting, or cleaning.

Climbing:

• May occasionally need to climb a small ladder or step stool to clean high areas (e.g., ceiling fans, upper shelves).

Fine Motor Skills:

• Ability to handle small items (e.g., operating spray bottles, using buttons/zippers on machines).

Visual and Hearing Requirements:

• Must be able to visually inspect cleanliness and hear instructions or alarms (e.g., laundry timers).

Environmental Tolerance:

• Work around cleaning chemicals (with proper protective gear).
  Tolerance for varying temperatures (e.g., laundry rooms, open windows, or AC settings).Pre-Employment Requirements

The employee must possess general knowledge and experience in all areas of the custodian/housekeeping job. Must possess a high school education. Must present a neat appearance and pleasant personality. The manager will schedule all work assignments and additional duties.
