Job summary

Interlachen Country Club in Winter Park, FL is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to perform routine cleaning in the Clubhouse, golf and tennis locker rooms, Pro Shop, Fitness Center and related areas.

You will maintain bathrooms, offices, and member-facing spaces, assist with towel deliveries, trash disposal, and occasional outdoor cleaning. The role requires physical effort and adherence to club standards.

Qualifications

• Prior cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness of bathrooms, locker rooms, and common areas.
• Cleans offices and non-member areas; dusts, polishes, and surfaces.
• Performs errands such as towel and trash pickups as needed.
• Pressure washes kitchen floor weekly and outside areas when possible.
• Performs other duties as required by supervisor and manager.

Position Title:

Housekeeper

Job Summary:

Performs routine cleaning and other duties in the Clubhouse, golf locker rooms, cart barn, tennis locker rooms, Pro Shop, Nautilus Fitness Center, pool, Cabana, course restrooms and shelters.

Work Performed

• Maintains cleanliness of all bathroom and shower areas (all fixtures, shower walls and other tile walls), disinfects all sinks, toilets, urinals, telephones and floors. Polishes all brass, empties all waste containers and restocks amenities when needed.
• Maintains all member areas throughout the property; vacuums and cleans all carpeting; cleans mirrors, windows and walls; dusts furniture, doors, baseboards and light fixtures; polishes all brass; cleans and polishes lounge floor and wood floor; empties waste baskets.
• Cleans administrative offices and all non-member areas; dusts and polishes all counters, cabinets, desk and file cabinets; washes all windows sills and blinds.
• Performs any errands as needed, including towel pick‑up and delivery and trash pick‑up and disposal.
• Responsible for pressure washing kitchen floor each week; when possible, pressure washes all outside areas—sidewalks, course bathrooms and shelters.
• Performs other duties as required by supervisor, assistant club manager and the general manager.

Physical/Mental Requirements

• May be required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Requires occasional bending, reaching, stretching.
• May be required to work in heat and sun for prolonged periods of time.
• May be required to climb ladders of 8 feet.
