Job summary

Chestelm Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to provide quality housekeeping services, ensuring a clean, orderly and safe environment for residents and staff. The role may require flexibility between housekeeping and laundry duties to support facility operations.

Hours for housekeeping are 7am-3:30pm, every other week. The candidate should be able to read labels in English, remain calm under pressure, and perform tasks with infection control in mind while working

Qualifications

• Ability to read labels and follow oral and written instructions in English.
• Ability to remain calm in stressful situations and to take appropriate action.
• Ability to visually assess all aspects of facility.
• Ability to walk, reach, bend, lift, grasp, pull, stretch.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality housekeeping services, maintaining a clean, orderly and safe environment for all residents and staff.
• Flexible between two departments (housekeeping and laundry).
• Maintain infection control and coordinate with other staff to minimize disruption to residents.

Job Description:

The Housekeeper provides quality housekeeping services, and a clean, orderly and safe environment for all facility residents and staff. We are looking for a candidate who can be flexible between two departments. (housekeeping and laundry).

Hours- Housekeeping 7am-3:30pm, : EOW

The Housekeeper cleans assigned areas of the facility, resident rooms and bathrooms, on a scheduled basis to meet high standards of cleanliness, infection control. The Housekeeper plans efficient use of time, cooperates with all other staff and performs responsibilities with minimum disruption to the residents and staff. Maintains a clean, orderly work area.
