Job summary

Gold’s Gym is hiring a Housekeeping role through Gold Medal Cleaning. You will be responsible for cleaning equipment and spaces, maintaining sanitation, and ensuring safety across gym facilities in the Carolinas.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and CPR certification, with benefits that include complimentary gym membership and employee discounts on apparel and products.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and ensure sanitation.
• Sweep, dust, mop, scrub and vacuum hallways, stairs, office spaces and other gym areas.
• Clean, mop, scrub, polish and disinfect bathrooms as needed.
• Keep bathrooms stocked with towels, tissue, soap and supplies.
• Empty trash in assigned areas and gym overall.
• Keep all floor surfaces clean, safe and orderly.
• Observe equipment for potential safety hazards.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of equipment and ensure it is sanitized.
• Sweeps, dusts, mops scrubs and vacuums hallways, stairs, office space and other assigned areas of the overall gym.
• Cleans, mops, scrubs, polishes, and disinfects all bathroom areas as needed.
• Responsible for maintaining a sufficient supply of materials (e.g. towels, tissue, soap, etc.) in all bathrooms in assigned areas.
• Empties trash and garbage containers in all assigned areas, as well as the gym overall.
• Maintains all floor areas in a safe, clean, and orderly manner.
• Observes equipment for potential safety hazards.
