Job summary

Golds Gym is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping team member to keep our facilities clean and sanitary across all Carolinas locations. You'll be responsible for routine cleaning, sanitizing equipment, and maintaining bathroom areas in a fast-paced gym environment.

The role emphasizes safety, equipment checks, and inventory of supplies. A high school diploma or GED and CPR certification are required, with opportunities for gym membership benefits and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and sanitize as needed.
• Sweep, mop, dust, scrub and vacuum hallways, offices, and gym areas.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms; ensure supplies are stocked.
• Monitor floors for safety hazards and maintain orderly spaces.
• Dispose of trash and maintain overall gym cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of equipment and ensure it is sanitized.
• Sweeps, dusts, mops scrubs and vacuums hallways, stairs, office space and other assigned areas of the overall gym.
• Cleans, mops, scrubs, polishes, and disinfects all bathroom areas as needed.
• Responsible for maintaining a sufficient supply of materials (e.g. towels, tissue, soap, etc.) in all bathrooms in assigned areas.
• Empties trash and garbage containers in all assigned areas, as well as the gym overall.
• Maintains all floor areas in a safe, clean, and orderly manner.
• Observes equipment for potential safety hazards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Current CPR Certification
