Job summary

Generations is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness in resident apartments and common areas within our senior living communities in Fort Collins, CO. You will care for equipment, follow safety standards, and support a home-like environment for residents.

We offer full-time and part-time schedules, competitive pay and benefits including PTO, medical-dental-vision, 401(k) employer match, and on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• CPR and First Aid certification, training available upon hire.
• Ability to read, write, communicate in English.
• Housekeeping experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service residents’ apartments, common areas, guest rooms, and offices.
• Change linens in apartments as scheduled.
• May have laundry duties.
• Spot clean carpets as needed.
• Service apartments as they become vacant and ensure turnover efficiency.
• Review the facility environment and request repairs as needed.
• Assist staff and residents to maintain a home-like atmosphere.
• All other duties assigned.

The Housekeeper maintains cleanliness standards in resident apartments and community common areas. Our housekeeping team is an integral part of creating a home-like environment for every resident. Housekeepers care for and maintain all equipment and tools used in daily work. Complies with federal, state, and local standards for facility operation. Incorporates the Generation’s Mission, Vision, and Values into their daily work and interactions with others.

Schedule:

• Full-time at The Worthington, Mondays through Fridays, from 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
• Part-time at Mercer Commons, Sundays & Mondays, from 7:30 am - 3:30 pm
• 8-hour shifts

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for cleaning and servicing residents’ apartments, common areas, guest rooms, and offices.
• Change linens in apartments as scheduled.
• May have laundry duties.
• Spot clean carpets as needed.
• Service apartments as they become vacant. Ensure efficient apartment turnover.
• Reviews the physical environment of the facility regularly and directs requests for repair and replacement.
• Assists personnel and residents in establishing a home-like atmosphere
• All other duties assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid, training available upon hire.
• Ability to read, write, communicate, and follow written and oral instructions in the English language.
• Experience in housekeeping is preferred, but not required.
