Job summary

Winter Park Resort is seeking a dedicated Year Round Housekeeper to prepare guest units for arrivals and maintain a clean, welcoming environment. You will work with the resort’s housekeeping team to ensure top-quality rooms and public spaces are ready for guests.

The role requires physical stamina and attention to detail, with opportunities for benefits and a staff environment that supports a healthy work-life balance. This position is based at Winter Park Resort in Colorado.

Qualifications

• Less than high school education acceptable or equivalent experience.
• Ability to perform essential housekeeping duties in a lodging environment.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Stocks and maintains a neat housekeeping cart.
• Cleans kitchens, bathrooms and living spaces to ensure guest readiness.
• Replenishes supplies and reports any damages or needs to supervisor.

Other rewards may include many region-specific benefits.Hourly pay: $21.46**ESSENTIAL DUTIES:*** Stocks and maintains a neat and orderly housekeeping cart* Ensures they pick up after themselves at all times: including housekeeping storage closets, employee breakrooms, and employee bathrooms.* Sorts counts, folds, marks, or carries linens; make beds.* Cleans kitchens including all counter tops, floors, silverware, dishes, and appliances.* Moves furniture, to sweep, vacuum, scrub, wax and/or polish floors.* Cleans rugs, carpet, upholstered furniture, and draperies.* Dusts furniture, blinds, artwork, and all surfaces.* Washes walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels and sills.* Empties all wastebaskets and ensures cleanliness.* Cleans bathrooms; including all showers, toilets, sinks, counters, tile, and floors.* Replenishes all supplies in unit.* Notes and communicates any noted damage, extra dirty units, or lost & found items to their Supervisor.* Complies with all company policies and procedures.* Knows the Winter Park Resort Core Values* Follows all established uniform and appearance policies.* Special projects and other duties may be assigned as needed.* Other duties as assigned**EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:**Less than high school education is acceptable: or , up to one month related experience or training: or, equivalent combination of education and experience**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:**The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
