Job summary

Zarrow Pointe is seeking a Villa Housekeeper to maintain single-story Villa residences at our Villa Residential Homes. Schedule is Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 3:00pm, with supervision by the Director of Housekeeping/Laundry.

Candidates should have at least one year of health care facility experience and be able to lift up to 25 pounds. Responsibilities include light housekeeping in resident rooms and common areas, assisting with laundry, and traveling between Villa homes as needed.

Responsibilities

• Light housekeeping in resident rooms, public areas, restrooms, and dining rooms.
• Help in the laundry.

• Must be physically and mentally capable of performing the duties required.

• Should have at least one year of experience in a health care facility.

• Must be able to lift and/or move objects not more than 25 lbs.

SUPERVISORY CONTROLS:

• This position reports to the Director of Housekeeping/Laundry.

Villa Housekeeping Responsibilities

• Residential Cleaning: Responsible for cleaning and maintaining single-story Villa residences.

• Outdoor Travel Between Residences: Must be able to travel between Villa homes throughout the workday.

• Weather Conditions: Must be able to work in varying outdoor weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and other seasonal conditions while traveling between residences.

• Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform routine housekeeping duties, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and transporting cleaning supplies and equipment.

PRINCIPLE ESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Light housekeeping in residents rooms, public areas, restrooms, and dining rooms.

• Help in the laundry.

• Any other duties as may be requested by the supervisor.

OTHER PERTINENT FACTS:

• Supervisor will supply work schedule.

• Supervisor may sometimes assign employee to work in another position, other than their own, to maintain a reasonable completion of daily working schedules.
