AvantStay, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeper to clean and service units in a timely manner according to AvantStay standards and checklists. The ideal candidate will ensure guest satisfaction through meticulous cleaning and adherence to safety and policy guidelines.

Responsibilities include maintaining room cleanliness, replacing linens, reporting issues, and managing supplies. The role offers a full-time schedule with weekend availability and benefits as outlined by the company.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Attention to detail and ability to complete cleans in a timely manner.
• Ability to work a flexible, full-time schedule including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general cleanliness throughout hotel rooms (vacuuming, mopping, sweeping).
• Remove trash, recycling and compost from receptacles.
• Clean, sanitize, and replace liners in bins.
• Replace linens (bedding, sheets, towels); laundry is done offsite.
• Report issues such as damages or security concerns.
• Comply with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Check stocking levels of consumables and cleaning supplies.
• Create and complete daily job lists and inspection forms.
• Perform other duties as necessary.

What we are looking for…

An organized and detail-oriented Housekeeper to manage and carry out the cleaning processes and procedures. This person will be responsible for cleaning and servicing our units in a timely manner according to AvantStay guidelines and standards, service sequence, and inspection checklists to exceed guest expectations. The ideal candidate is passionate about providing unparalleled experiences and world class customer service to guests.

What you’ll do…

• Maintain general cleanliness throughout our hotel rooms including vacuuming, mopping, and sweeping according to AvantStay standards and guidelines.
• Remove trash, recycling and compost from receptacles throughout the rooms
• Clean, sanitize, and replace liners in trash and recycling bins.
• Replace linens found in the rooms, such as bedding, sheets, and towels (laundry service is done offsite, so you will have clean linens available)
• Report any issues in our rooms, including damages and/or any security issues.
• Comply with health and safety regulations and act in line with company policies and licensing laws.
• Check and report on stocking levels of all consumables and cleaning supplies.
• Create and complete daily job lists and complete all paperwork/ inspection forms.
• Other duties as necessary.

Requirements

What you’ll bring…

• Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting
