Greystar is seeking a dedicated maintenance/janitorial teammate to keep vacant apartments, leasing offices, and common areas clean and appealing. You will support make-readies, ensure market-ready units, and report hazards.

A valid driver's license is required to operate a golf cart on property, and you must be able to work a flexible schedule. Onsite housing discounts and comprehensive benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Performs tasks to ensure the overall cleanliness and proper appearance of vacant apartment homes, leasing office, and other amenities to enhance and maintain property appeal.
• Maintains an appropriate inventory of cleaning supplies and informs supervisor when re-orders are necessary.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods and work in all weather conditions.

Job Description Summary

• Cleans the leasing office, clubhouse and common-area restrooms, the model(s), amenities and vacant apartment homes on a daily basis or as directed by the appropriate supervisor.
• Ensures all vacant apartment homes and targeted show units are freshened throughout the day to maintain market-ready appeal.
• Assists in the make-ready process by performing additional duties requested by Service Manager, Community Manager and/or Assistant Manager.

Required Licenses or Certifications

• Incumbents must have valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Physical Demands

• Incumbents need to be able to stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods of time and bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined areas.
• Incumbents must be able to work inside and outside in all weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, hail, wind, sleet).
• Incumbents must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights of up to twenty-five (25) pounds independently and fifty (50) pounds with assistance.
• Rare or regular travel may be required to assist other properties as needed, attend training classes, business meetings, or other situations necessary for the accomplishment of some or all of the daily responsibilities of this position.
• Incumbents must be able to work a flexible work schedule, which includes taking call during evenings, weekends and holidays.

Additional Compensation

Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location.

• Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.
• Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
