We are seeking a Housekeeper/Environmental Services Aide to join our team!

Hospital Details

SKY REHAB, located in Bowling Green, KY, is a 60-bed inpatient rehab providing rehabilitative services to people recovering from disabilities caused by injuries or illnesses. We help our patients regain their physical or cognitive abilities so they can return home at their highest level of independence. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly environment where you really get to know your patients and their families. SKY Rehab Hospital is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) for various services and specialty programs, including Inpatient Rehabilitation (Adults, Adolescents, and Children), Brain Injury, and Stroke Specialty Programs. Our hospital is also accredited by The Joint Commission.

Responsibilities

Responsible for performing a variety of cleaning duties to ensure the hospital environment meets standards for cleanliness, sanitation, infection control, and safety. This includes maintaining the cleanliness of floors and furniture using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals.

Required Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Two (2) years of housekeeping experience may substitute for education.
• Effective verbal communication with hospital staff required.
• Ability to read and understand written instructions.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• One (1) year of housekeeping experience preferred, especially in healthcare settings.
• Professional image and knowledge of regulatory standards.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when necessary.
• Working knowledge of relevant computer and software applications.
• Drug and alcohol free in the workplace.
