Job summary

Suite Living Senior Care is seeking a professional Housekeeper in Burnsville, MN, to join our 32-unit Assisted Living & Memory Care community. The ideal candidate has prior housekeeping experience in senior living and a compassionate approach to residents.

The position is full-time, approximately 30 hours per week, with a daytime shift from 7:30am to 1:30pm, Monday through Friday. Preference given to candidates with caregiver experience and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience as a Housekeeper preferred, especially in senior living.
• Compassionate and respectful toward residents.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, vacuum, dust, and sanitize assigned areas; move furniture as needed.
• Store chemicals safely per OSHA standards and follow building policies.
• Use proper body mechanics during cleaning and moving objects.
• Maintain housekeeping supplies and care for equipment.
• May assist with caregiver duties as needed.

SUMMARY

Suite Living Senior Care of Burnsville is a 32-unit Assisted Living & Memory Care facility and we are looking to hire a professional and compassionate HOUSEKEEPER to join our team! The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a Senior Living community as a Housekeeper or Caregiver.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Sweep, vacuum, dust, wash, scour, and sanitize areas as assigned; must move furniture and equipment as necessary to clean.
• Keep harmful chemicals safety stored to OSHA standards and perform cleaning procedures in accordance to building policies.
• Use proper body mechanics during cleaning and moving furniture.
• Utilize housekeeping supplies as needed and properly care for all housekeeping equipment.
• May assist with various Caregiver duties as needed

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of a High School Diploma
• Previous experience as a Housekeeper strongly preferred
• Experience in a Senior Living community strongly preferred
• Previous experience as a Caregiver strongly preferred but not required
• Must have excellent knowledge of all housekeeping duties and expectations
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards required
• Must be respectful and compassionate towards the geriatric population
• Must have excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skills with residents, staff members, and families
• Must have physical aptitude to perform the functions of the job
