Job summary

Roberts Resorts & Communities is seeking a general housekeeping team member to uphold 5-star cleanliness for guests and residents.

You will clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens and public areas, manage supplies, and follow safety procedures to ensure outstanding guest experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Hardworking, reliable and focused on exceptional customer service.
• Organized and detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Previous experience cleaning homes or other large facilities.
• Knowledge of general janitorial work and safety when using cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and properly stock resort restrooms, kitchens and common areas.
• Maintain washers and dryers by cleaning surfaces and removing lint.
• Ensure floors are swept, vacuumed, mopped, waxed and buffed as needed.
• Ensure windows, screens and ledges are clean and functioning properly.
• Keep offices clean and neat; empty trash as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions or defective equipment to management.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Position Summary:

General housekeeping duties assure the amenities, and public areas are clean and ready for guests during posted operating hours. Assure all areas meet our high 5-star standards and exceed our residents and guests' expectations.

Performance Objectives:

• Clean, sanitize, and properly stock resort restrooms, kitchens and common areas
• Maintain washers and dryers by cleaning all surfaces and removing lint
• Ensure all floors are swept, vacuumed, mopped, waxed and buffed as needed
• Ensure all windows, screens and window ledges are clean and functioning properly
• Ensure all offices are clean and neat. Empty trash containers as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and precautions
• Report unsafe or hazardous conditions, incidents, accidents and/or defective equipment to the resort manager or maintenance supervisor
• Other duties and special projects as assigned

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be hardworking, reliable and focused on providing exceptional customer service
• Must be organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Previous experience cleaning homes or other large facilities
• Demonstrated knowledge of general janitorial work
• Knowledge of safety measures required when using various cleaning chemicals
