Housekeeper/Runner: Full Time 11:30am - 8:00pm, every other weekend and holiday required

Responsibilities include:

  • Collection and follow cleaning procedure for infusion pumps, redistribute as needed
  • Clean and service facility building areas, move furniture, equipment, and supplies around the facility
  • Perform all cleaning, floor care, and project assignments within area of responsibility or as directed by supervisor
  • Utilize cleaning chemicals properly and safely in accordance with department guidelines
  • Perform related services such as bed moves, changing mattresses, stocking supplies, etc.
  • Maintain high standards and work steadily at an efficient pace
  • Achieve high QA scores
  • Exercise good judgment around patients and visitors
  • Interact hospitably, cheerfully, and supportively with staff, patients, visitors, and colleagues
  • Maintain equipment, tools, and storage areas in clean, orderly, and good operating condition
  • Respond rapidly and thoroughly to emergencies, spills, and special needs
  • Accept suggestions and directions from supervisors and staff
  • Strive to maintain a safe working environment and take initiative in service
  • Assist other associates as necessary

Credentials:

  • H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 1+ years of environmental or related experience in a hospital or college environment
