Job summary

Royal Palms Resort and Spa is seeking a Room Attendant to maintain cleanliness in guest rooms across a large property. The role requires the ability to push/pull carts and communicate with guests, with open availability including mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Prior cleaning experience and strong customer service skills are preferred. This position is based at the resort with day shifts and starts at $18.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to light, push and pull a moderate amount of weight.
• Must be able to work in outdoor environment as hotel is spread out.
• Good customer service skills.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Role & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the guest rooms assigned. Previous cleaning experience as well as the ability to communicate to guests preferred. Our resort is spread out across a large property. Must be able to walk/push/pull carts in an indoor and outdoor setting.

Room Attendants must have open availability and be able to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, weekends, and holidays.

• Must be able to work in an outdoor environment as our hotel is spread out throughout the property and housekeeping carts will need to be pushed outdoors between the casitas.
