Job summary

Lutheran Home is seeking a friendly Housekeeper at Saxony Village in Missouri to help keep our retirement community clean, comfortable and welcoming. This full-time, day shift role runs 7:30 am to 4:00 pm with a rotating weekend schedule and includes many benefits.

Typical duties include cleaning resident apartments, common areas, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, reporting maintenance issues, and ensuring supplies are safely used. A driver’s license is helpful; housekeeping experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive as needed for work-related duties.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in resident apartments or duplexes.
• Clean the common areas of Saxony Manor.
• Perform routine housekeeping tasks: dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and trash removal.
• Report maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.
• Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are maintained and used safely according to guidelines.
• Foster a positive and supportive atmosphere within the community.

At Saxony Village, we’re looking for a friendly, dependable Housekeeper to help keep our retirement community clean, comfortable, and welcoming. This full-time, day shift position is a great fit for someone who enjoys cleaning, helping others, takes pride in their work, and is willing to learn. Housekeeping experience is a plus, being comfortable around pets is important. Typical tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Maintaining cleanliness in the residentapartments or duplexes.
• Cleaning the common areas of Saxony Manor.
• Performing routine housekeeping tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and trash removal.
• Performing specific daily, weekly, and monthly housekeeping tasks as assigned.
• Reporting any maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Ensuring all cleaning supplied and equipment are properly maintained and used according to safety guidelines.
• Fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere within the community.
