Marriott Vacations Worldwide is looking for a Housekeeper Public Space in Palm Desert, CA to maintain clean, inviting public areas and support guest experiences. You will clean, stock, and monitor restrooms, lobbies, and pools, ensuring safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Valid US driver’s license not required for housekeeping, but certain shifts may demand mobility.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and stocks restrooms and showers in public and employee areas.
• Cleans glass in public and employee areas.
• Cleans floors in public or employee spaces using designated cleaners.
• Dusts surfaces in assigned areas.
• Empties trash in public areas into proper containers.
• Assists with towel distribution and pool towel handling as needed.
• Replenishes towels and disinfecting supplies in locker rooms and fitness centers.
• Reports maintenance or safety issues to management.

As a Housekeeper Public Space, a typical day will include:

• Cleans and stocks supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and Kleenex in public and employee restrooms and showers.
• Cleans glass in public and employee areas.
• Cleans floor surfaces in public or employee spaces using designated chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
• Dusts surfaces in assigned areas.
• Empties trash containers, ashtrays, and ash urns in public areas into proper containers.
• Can be asked to clean floors, hand out pool towels, and rearrange the chairs.
• Replenishes towels and disinfecting wipes in locker rooms and fitness centers.
• Removes dirty towels.
• Reports any engineering work orders in the public areas.

Guest Experience and Company Standards Welcome and greet guests and anticipate and address their needs. Interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly. Contribute to team goals. Always follow company policies and safety procedures.

To Become a Housekeeper Public Space at MVW:

• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
• Lift/Carry/Push/Pull Items that Weigh up to 25lbs without assistance.
• Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
