Job Overview

Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing occupied spaces, including patient units, office areas, clinics, treatment/procedural areas, and public spaces using various cleaning supplies and equipment. Also removes refuse and soiled linens.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.
Ability to clean areas requiring technical cleaning, such as IR, Cardiac Cath, Mother-Baby, NICU, OR, ED.
Ability to operate light floor cleaning equipment.
Must be able to lift and transport patients in emergencies.
Physical requirements include reaching, standing for long periods, squatting, bending, and lifting supplies or equipment weighing up to 35 lbs., up to 80% of the time.
Ability to climb ladders.
Ability to wear protective gear such as gowns, gloves, goggles, and closed-toe footwear.
Valid Indiana driver’s license and proof of insurance.
No prior experience required.
