Job summary

Texas Health Resources, Inc. is seeking a Housekeeper for the PRN Evening shift at Texas Health Dallas, 2:30pm-11:00pm, performing cleaning and sanitization tasks in a fast-paced hospital environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months of related experience, with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently while handling housekeeping chemicals safely.

• Capable of working independently, setting priorities and being flexible in assignments.
• Able to work around housekeeping chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned area(s) according to procedure to meet infection control, sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Replenish supplies on housekeeping carts or in assigned areas for next shift.
• Report broken equipment to the supervisor and keep equipment clean.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Work hours: PRN “as needed”, Evening Shift, 2:30pm - 11:00pm

Here’s What You Need

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• 6 months of related experience
• Good verbal and written communication skills. Capable of working. independently, setting priorities, and being flexible in assignments. Able to work around housekeeping chemicals.

What You Will Do

• Clean assigned area(s) according to procedure to meet established infection control, sanitation and safety guidelines. This includes, but is not limited to sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, pulling trash, pulling dirty linen, cleaning sinks, commodes, countertops, showers and beds.
• Replenish supplies on housekeeping carts or in assigned areas to prepare work area for next service period.
• Responsible for keeping all equipment clean and reporting all broken equipment to the supervisor.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
