Responsibilities
  1. Maintain a professional image and exhibit excellent customer relations with patients, visitors, physicians, and coworkers, in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.
  2. Provide a clean and aseptic environment by performing duties such as waste removal, dusting, cleaning and sanitizing fixtures and surfaces, dust and damp mopping, biohazard spill cleanup, soiled linen removal, bed making, and vacuuming.
  3. Use computers for training, data collection, and routine room turnover operations.
  4. Keep records, maintain logs, and submit daily activity reports.
  5. Report via schedule worksheets and task sheets.
  6. Adhere to hospital and departmental policies and procedures, and follow applicable regulatory laws.
  7. Change out drapes and cubicle curtains.
  8. Proficiently use floor and carpet care equipment, both battery operated and electric.
  9. Become proficient in restorative, interim, and routine floor and carpet care procedures.
  10. Remove bulk biohazard and solid waste.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.
