Job summary

Vaiden Community Living Center is seeking a detail-oriented housekeeper to support daily cleaning and upkeep of resident areas. You will perform sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing, ensuring rooms meet standards and safety guidelines.

This PRN position offers flexible scheduling, opportunities for growth, and a team-focused environment where integrity and patient care matter. High school diploma is preferred; prior housekeeping experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Must meet all local health regulations and pass any required post-employment physical exam.
• Experience in a similar role is preferable.
• Ability to perform duties to required standards with integrity and attention to safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing.
• Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards.
• Protect equipment and ensure there are no inadequacies.
• Notify superiors of any damage, deficits, and disturbances.
• Deal with complaints/requests with professionalism and patience.
• Check stocking levels of consumables and replace when appropriate.
• Adhere to health and safety rules and company practices.

Responsibilities/Duties

• Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing
• Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
• Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies
• Notify superiors of any damage, deficits, and disturbances
• Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
• Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate
