Job summary

Horizons Care Center in Eckert, CO is seeking a Part-time Housekeeper on a PRN schedule to help maintain a clean, welcoming campus for residents and staff. You will perform defined cleaning procedures, replenish supplies, and keep carts and closets sanitary while following safety procedures and directions from the Housekeeping Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, read, write and understand English.
• Previous institutional housekeeping/cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to follow procedures, manage time and operate cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs defined cleaning procedures using cleaning agents and equipment.
• Replenishes paper products, hand soap and wastebasket liners as needed.
• Maintains housekeeping cart and closets in sanitary condition.
• Performs other duties or special assignments as directed by supervisor.

Pay Range: $18.62 - $21.03 per hour based on experience.

What You Bring (Requirements)

• Previous institutional housekeeping/cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow procedures, work assignments, instructions, warnings and labels.
• Adequate strength, endurance and coordination to meet the strenuous physical demands of such responsibilities as dusting, mopping, vacuuming and scrubbing.
• Ability to speak, read, write and understand English.
• Ability to utilize computers and other electronic devices for tasks such as timekeeping, in-servicing and documentation.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Performs defined cleaning procedures, using various chemicals and cleaning agents, supplies and equipment.
• Replenishes paper products, hand soap products and wastebasket liners as needed during routine cleaning procedures.
• Maintains housekeeping cart and utility closets in sanitary and orderly condition.
• Performs other duties or special assignments as directed by the Housekeeping Supervisor.
