Job summary

AvantStay is seeking an organized Housekeeper to manage cleaning of our units in Paso Robles, CA. You'll follow our guidelines, perform cleaning tasks, replace linens, and ensure high guest standards. Linen laundry is offsite, so you’ll have fresh linens on hand for each shift.

This full-time role requires weekend availability, strict attention to detail, and solid time-management skills. Perks include competitive hourly pay and benefits, with opportunities to contribute to a premium guest

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Availability to work a flexible and full-time schedule including weekends.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general cleanliness throughout rooms (vacuuming, mopping, sweeping) per AvantStay standards.
• Remove trash, recycling and compost from receptacles throughout the rooms.
• Clean, sanitize, and replace liners in trash and recycling bins.
• Replace linens in rooms; laundry is done offsite and linens are provided.
• Report issues, damages, or security concerns in the rooms.
• Comply with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Check stocking levels of consumables and cleaning supplies.
• Create and complete daily job lists and inspection forms.
• Other duties as necessary.

What we are looking for

An organized and detail-oriented Housekeeper to manage and carry out the cleaning processes and procedures. This person will be responsible for cleaning and servicing our units in a timely manner according to AvantStay guidelines and standards, service sequence, and inspection checklists to exceed guest expectations. The ideal candidate is passionate about providing unparalleled experiences and world class customer service to guests.

What you’ll do

• Maintain general cleanliness throughout our hotel rooms including vacuuming, mopping, and sweeping according to AvantStay standards and guidelines.




• Remove trash, recycling and compost from receptacles throughout the rooms




• Clean, sanitize, and replace liners in trash and recycling bins.




• Replace linens found in the rooms, such as bedding, sheets, and towels (laundry service is done offsite, so you will have clean linens available)




• Report any issues in our rooms, including damages and/or any security issues.




• Comply with health and safety regulations and act in line with company policies and licensing laws.




• Check and report on stocking levels of all consumables and cleaning supplies.




• Create and complete daily job lists and complete all paperwork/ inspection forms.




• Other duties as necessary.

Requirements

What you’ll bring
