Responsibilities

• Dust furniture, woodwork, equipment, and floors; polish fixtures in rooms and bathrooms.
• Operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers, vacuums, and shampooers.
• Wet-mop floors, halls, and other areas; shampoo rugs and furniture.
• Clean vents, fan fixtures, high areas using a ladder.
• Dispose of trash and waste materials properly.
• Move furniture and heavy objects as needed.
• Perform terminal cleaning of patient rooms and prepare for new occupants, following isolation procedures where applicable.
• Clean and disinfect fixtures, floors, mirrors, windows, doors, and walls of bathrooms.

Job Requirements

• Active position requiring standing, walking, bending, lifting, kneeling, stooping, and crouching.
• Previous environmental services experience is a plus.
• Strong work ethic and effective communication skills.
