Housekeeper - Part Time for Assisted Living Community

Join our team as a Housekeeper - Part Time at TerraBella Senior Living.

TerraBella Senior Living operates over 30 communities across the Carolinas, Virginia, Kentucky, Georgia, and Tennessee, offering a range of senior living options including Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Respite Care.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties in assigned areas such as apartments, common areas, lounges, and offices according to schedule.
• Sweep, dust, mop, vacuum floors, rugs, carpets, and runners; rotate runners in hallways and entryways.
• Sanitize and polish lavatory, shower, and sink fixtures; stock dispensers as needed.
• Scrub tiles, woodwork, window frames, and sills.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and materials in a clean and organized manner.
• Collect trash and refuse from work areas.
• Manage community laundry and maintain the laundry area in a sanitary condition.
• Store cleaning chemicals safely and securely.
• Keep cords, carts, and equipment out of walkways and in compliance with fire safety codes.
• Report repairs and supply needs to the Lead Housekeeper.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Effective communication skills, especially with residents.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and operational documents.
• Interest in working with seniors.
• Courteous and friendly interaction with guests, residents, and staff.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, handle objects, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, sit, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Visual abilities including close and color vision.
