Job description

Role Summary:
At Intelli-Tec Security Services, the housekeeping staff member is experienced and responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and a well-organized environment in our safe, secure, and modern Syosset, NY office. This full-time role involves performing various cleaning and maintenance tasks, waste management, sanitization, stock management, and providing support in maintaining outdoor spaces.

Pay Rate:
$20 per hour

Shift Hours:
4-hour shift, afternoon hours, Sunday-Wednesday

Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the corporate office.
  • Clean and disinfect surfaces, restrooms, and commonly used areas to maintain a hygienic environment.
  • Sweep, mop, dust, and vacuum indoor office space and maintain outdoor areas.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning and janitorial supplies, including restocking towels, soap dispensers, sanitizing wipe dispensers, paper, and kitchen supplies.
  • Empty trash pails and shredder bins and ensure proper disposal of waste.
  • Restock water dispensers and ensure availability of drinking water for employees.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and handle cleaning chemicals safely.
  • Maintain effective communication and collaboration with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and regulations related to cleanliness, safety, and security.
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service to employees, visitors, and clients.
  • Clean warehouse areas, including floors, shelves, and storage spaces.
  • Ensure cleanliness of technician trucks, including interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Maintain a clean driving record while performing job duties.
  • Assist in various repairs and maintenance around the office as needed.
  • Assist in company vehicle transportation for repairs when necessary.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Prior commercial/office cleaning experience is required (2+ years).
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain scheduled adherence with flexibility and adaptability.
  • Professional working proficiency in English language.
