Position Purpose and Summary

The Housekeeper position must demonstrate and promote a strong commitment to providing the best possible experience for our guests. The role involves cleaning guest rooms in accordance with company guidelines and procedures.

Major / Key Job Duties

• Demonstrates and promotes a 100% commitment to guest and associate satisfaction.
• Cleans assigned guest rooms adhering to company standards, policies, and procedures.
• Maintains housekeeping carts, cart rooms, and laundry areas to company standards.
• Stocks carts and cart rooms as needed or directed.
• Reports maintenance issues and guest property concerns to management.
• Assists with guest requests and provides accommodations whenever possible.
• Follows all safety and security policies.
• Completes all required training, including Extended Stay University courses.

Other Duties

• Assists with cleaning other hotel areas such as the breakroom, laundry, fitness room, vending areas, stairwells, and common areas.
• Maintains overall hotel cleanliness.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by management.

Compensation

Pay ranges vary by location and role. For Colorado, Washington, California: $12.56 - $22.95. For New York City (Whitestone): $32.96.
