Position Purpose and Summary

The Housekeeper position demonstrates and promotes a strong commitment to providing the best possible experience for our guests. The role involves cleaning guest rooms in accordance with company guidelines and procedures.

Major / Key Job Duties

• Demonstrate and promote a 100% commitment to providing the best possible experience for our guests and associates.
• Clean assigned guest rooms adhering to company standards, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain housekeeping carts, cart rooms, and laundry areas to company standards.
• Stock carts and cart rooms as necessary or directed by management.
• Report all maintenance issues directly to the front desk and/or manager on duty.
• Report any remaining guest property in check-out rooms to the front desk and manager on duty.
• Assist with guest requests whenever possible and practical.
• Follow all safety and security policies and procedures.
• Complete all required and annual Extended Stay University training.

Other Duties

• Assist with cleaning other hotel areas as assigned, including but not limited to, the associate breakroom, guest laundry, fitness room, vending areas, stairwells, and common areas.
• Maintain overall hotel cleanliness.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
