Position Purpose and Summary

The Housekeeper position must demonstrate and promote a strong commitment to providing the best possible experience for our guests. The role involves cleaning guest rooms according to company guidelines and procedures.

Major / Key Job Duties

1. Demonstrates and promotes a 100% commitment to providing the best possible experience for our guests and associates.
2. Cleans assigned guest rooms following company standards, policies, and procedures.
3. Maintains housekeeping carts, cart rooms, and laundry areas to company standards.
4. Stocks carts and cart rooms as needed or directed by management.
5. Reports all maintenance issues directly to the front desk or manager on duty.
6. Reports any remaining guest property in check-out rooms to the front desk or manager on duty.
7. Assists with guest requests whenever possible and practical.
8. Follows all safety and security policies and procedures.
9. Completes all required and annual Extended Stay University training.

Other Duties

1. Assists with cleaning other hotel areas as assigned, including but not limited to, the associate breakroom, guest laundry, fitness room, vending areas, stairwells, and common areas.
2. Responsible for maintaining overall hotel cleanliness.
3. Performs other duties as assigned by management.
