Position Purpose and Summary:

The Housekeeper position requires a strong commitment to providing an excellent guest experience. The main responsibility is cleaning guest rooms according to company standards and procedures.

Key Job Duties:

1. Demonstrate and promote a 100% commitment to guest and associate satisfaction.
2. Clean assigned guest rooms adhering to company standards, policies, and procedures.
3. Maintain housekeeping carts, cart rooms, and laundry areas to company standards.
4. Stock carts and cart rooms as needed or directed.
5. Report maintenance issues and guest property concerns to the front desk or manager.
6. Assist guests with requests and provide accommodations when possible.
7. Follow all safety and security policies.
8. Complete all required training, including Extended Stay University courses.

Other Duties:

1. Assist with cleaning other hotel areas as assigned, like the breakroom, laundry, fitness room, vending areas, stairwells, and common areas.
2. Maintain overall hotel cleanliness.
3. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Compensation:

Pay ranges vary by state and experience. Examples include:

• California: $16.50 - $24.00
• Colorado: $16.00 - $19.00
• Illinois: $16.00 - $19.00
• Minnesota: $16.00 - $19.00
• New Jersey: $15.00 - $22.32
• Washington: $16.66 - $21.10
• Whitestone, NY: $18.27 - $19.62
