Position Purpose and Summary

The Housekeeper position demonstrates a strong commitment to providing the best possible experience for our guests. The role involves cleaning guest rooms in accordance with company guidelines and procedures.

Major / Key Job Duties

1. Provide excellent service to guests, ensuring a positive experience.
2. Clean assigned guest rooms following company standards, policies, and procedures.
3. Maintain housekeeping carts, cart rooms, and laundry areas to company standards.
4. Stock carts and cart rooms as needed or directed by management.
5. Report maintenance issues and guest property concerns to the front desk or manager on duty.
6. Assist with guest requests and provide accommodations when possible.
7. Follow all safety and security policies and procedures.
8. Complete all required training, including Extended Stay University courses.

Other Duties

• Assist with cleaning other areas of the hotel as assigned, such as breakrooms, laundry, fitness rooms, vending areas, stairwells, and common areas.
• Maintain overall hotel cleanliness.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Pay ranges vary by state, for example:

• Colorado: $16.00 - $19.00
• Illinois: $16.00 - $19.00

• Washington: $16.66 - $21.10
• Whitestone, NY: $18.27 - $19.62
