We are hiring immediately for part-time HOUSEKEEPER positions at Whittier Hospital Medical Center located at 9080 Colima Road, Whittier, CA 90605. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Part-time, with days and hours varying; weekends are required. More details will be provided during the interview.

Requirements: Previous housekeeping experience is preferred. Willing to train!

Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour

Job Summary

Performs light cleaning duties to maintain hospitals, hotels, and restaurants, including making beds, replenishing linens, and cleaning rooms and halls.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
• Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
• Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
• Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empty and clean trash containers and dispose of trash properly.
• Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
• Wipe down glass surfaces.
• Make beds and change linens as needed.
• Realign furniture and amenities according to layout.
• Respond to guest queries and housekeeping requests.
• Assist with spills and broken glass cleanup.
• Contribute to team efforts and exhibit professionalism.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
