Job summary

FAIRLAWN HAVEN in Archbold, OH is seeking a part-time Environmental Services Aide (Housekeeping). Responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing all areas, room transitions, and laundry duties while maintaining resident dignity and safety.

You will work closely with residents and families in a compassionate environment, following safety protocols and PPE guidelines. A positive attitude and reliable attendance are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, read, and write conversational English;
• Positive attitude and ability to work harmoniously with all staff and residents;
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect residents’ rights;
• First aid and CPR certification preferred;
• Effective communication with residents, families, staff and the public;
• Excellent attendance and work history;
• Ability to stand for long shifts and lift/move supplies up to 50 lbs;
• Familiarity with cleaning/disinfecting materials and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all facility areas on a regular basis.
• Assist with room transitions, including washing beds, sweeping and mopping, and trash removal.
• Perform laundry tasks: washing, drying, ironing and folding linens.

Responsible for room transitions; these tasks include washing beds, sweeping and mopping, trash removal, and equipment cleaning. Completes linen procedures of washing, drying, ironing, and folding all laundry.
