Job summary

Bridgewater Park Health and Rehabilitation in Ocala, FL is seeking a Housekeeper to provide a full range of cleaning services and maintain a safe, welcoming environment for residents. You will collaborate with Nursing Services and other departments while upholding safety standards and residents' rights.

The role includes following cleaning schedules, reporting hazards, and contributing to a respectful, well-maintained facility.

Qualifications

• Housekeeper must understand safe housekeeping practices within the state of employment.
• Able to work as a team player with other departments.
• A high school diploma or GED is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a full range of housekeeping services to maintain grounds, furnishings, equipment and facility.
• Maintain cleaning schedules for assigned area.
• Coordinate routine/terminal isolation procedures with Nursing Services.
• Maintain knowledge of safety regulations, policies and procedures and follow established safety procedures.
• Report unsafe/hazardous conditions or defective equipment to supervisor immediately.
• Honor residents’ personal and property rights.
• File complaints/grievances with supervisor in a timely fashion.

Responsibilities

The Housekeepers primary responsibility will provide a full range of housekeeping services to maintain the grounds, furnishings, equipment and facility.

• Maintain cleaning schedules for assigned area
• Coordinating routine/terminal isolation procedures with Nursing Services
• Maintain knowledge of safety regulations, policies and procedures and following the established safety procedures and precautions
• Reporting all unsafe/hazardous conditions, defective equipment, etc. to supervisor immediately
• Honoring the residents’ personal and property rights
• Filing complaints/grievances with supervisor in a timely fashion

Qualifications

Housekeeper Requirements/Qualifications:

• Housekeeper must have a thorough understanding of the principles of safe effective housekeeping practices within the State of employment.
• Have the ability to be a team player to partner with other departments
• A high school diploma or GED is preferred, but not required
