Part-time: 1st shift, 7:00am - 3:00pm, working 3 days a week & every other weekend.

The Housekeeper maintains sanitation of the facility for the health, comfort, and safety of residents, staff, and visitors.

Job Duties

• Performs routine cleaning as scheduled in resident, staff, and ancillary areas
• Mops entire areas, ensuring obstacles are moved for complete cleaning
• Dustes all surfaces from ceiling to floor
• Vacuum carpets, drapes, upholstery, and vents, moving obstacles as needed
• Collects and disposes of trash from various containers
• Cleans and disinfects restrooms, including sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, fixtures, and bathtubs
• Replenishes supplies such as soap, paper towels, liners, linens, and hygiene products
• Maintains, replaces, and reports malfunctions of cleaning equipment
• Manages housekeeping carts, ensuring they are stocked and maneuvered safely
• Deep cleans resident rooms/apartments, including washing windows, baseboards, and inside drawers and cabinets
• Assists with cleaning emergency spills and other tasks as needed
• Attends scheduled work shifts
• Performs all duties in accordance with the facility's mission and care philosophy
• Respects residents' rights, dignity, and confidentiality
• Communicates effectively with staff and residents
• Follows emergency procedures and safety protocols
• Maintains physical mobility and strength to ensure safety and assist residents
