Job summary

The Ivy Mountain View, managed by Oakmont Management Group, is seeking an on-site Housekeeper in Denver to clean resident apartments and common areas, and to handle resident laundry with a friendly, courteous approach.

Prior housekeeping experience is not required — will train. The role requires an 18+ age minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a focus on compassionate care for the elderly. Benefits include health, dental, vision, and more.

Qualifications

• Prefer prior housekeeping or janitorial experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• Vaccination or PPE requirements may apply per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Clean all resident apartments, as directed.
• Clean all public areas, common areas, and work areas as directed.
• Complete community and resident laundry and ironing, as assigned.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.

Pay Range: $18.00 - $19.29 per hour (depends on experience)

The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning all resident apartments, public areas, common areas, and work areas and doing laundry for both the residents and the community in a friendly, courteous manner, in accordance with the company’s mission, vision, and values.

• Clean all public areas, common areas, and work areas as directed.


• Complete community and resident laundry and ironing, as assigned.


• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
