Job summary

Sunnyside Nursing and Post-Acute Care in Torrance, CA is seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeping/Laundry Aide to join our compassionate team. You will perform daily housekeeping and laundry tasks, keep resident rooms and communal areas clean, and ensure rooms are sanitized in accordance with CDC/CMS standards.

Qualifications

• Daily housekeeping and laundry tasks per assignment.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas.
• Follow sanitation and infection prevention guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day housekeeping and laundry as assigned.
• Clean resident rooms, recreational areas, bathrooms, and windows.
• Disinfect floors and surfaces; deodorize as per policy.

Job Description

• Perform day-to-day housekeeping and/ or laundry functions as assigned
• Cleaning resident rooms, recreational areas, etc., daily as instructed.
• Clean, wash, sanitize, and/or polish bathrooms
• Assist with Laundry - Washing, drying, pressing, and folding clothes
• Clean windows/mirrors in resident rooms, recreational areas, bathrooms, and entrance/exit ways.
• Clean floors, to include sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, disinfecting, etc.
• Deodorizing, and disinfecting as per policy.
• Discard waste/trash into proper containers and reline trash receptacle with plastic liner.

On-Call: 7 days a week

AM or PM shift
