Job summary

Avantara North is seeking part-time Housekeepers to join our friendly, caring team and help maintain a clean, safe resident environment.

As a Housekeeper, you will handle cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the facility, follow infection-control standards, and use housekeeping tools and chemicals with care. Prior Skilled Nursing experience is helpful but not required; eleventh grade education is the minimum.

Qualifications

• As a minimum, an eleventh (11th) grade education.
• Prior Housekeeping experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!

Responsibilities

• Keep resident areas clean and sanitized to meet infection-control standards.
• Maintain housekeeping tools, chemicals and equipment and follow safety procedures.

As a Housekeeper you are instrumental in maintaining the cleanliness and infection control standards of our resident’s environment. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Avantara North by cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the facility and operating housekeeping related tools, chemicals and equipment. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure a clean and safe environment.
