Job summary

McCrite Plaza is seeking a Housekeeper / Laundry to ensure the facility remains clean and sanitized. Responsibilities include making beds, washing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, and operating washers/dryers with proper chemical handling.

The role requires adherence to infection control procedures, safety policies, and teamwork with residents, families, and staff. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred; must be 16 or older for full-time work.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping experience preferred, but not required.
• Must be at least 16 years of age for full-time positions.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Clean rooms and halls, make beds, and launder linens.
• Operate washers and dryers and proper laundry procedures.
• Observe waste disposal procedures and maintain clean, stocked areas.
• Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards to supervisor.
• Adhere to infection control and safety policies at all times.
