Housekeeper / Janitor / Laundry Aide

$12.50 - $15.75 depending on experience!

Job Summary:

Wheatcrest Hills Healthcare Center is seeking a Housekeeper / Janitor / Laundry Aide to join our exciting and fast-paced team! Our housekeepers provide daily housekeeping services to maintain the Center's safety, sanitation, and attractive condition.

Essential Functions:

1. Follows and completes cleaning schedules
2. Observes proper infection control standards
3. Follows written policies and procedures of the Laundry Department
4. Linen sorting, washing, folding
5. Presses or hand irons articles as required
6. Inspects linen for wear and tear
7. Cares for and uses equipment and supplies properly, maintaining cleanliness of the work area
8. Operates washers and dryers
9. Cleans dryer lint traps
10. Performs janitorial tasks to maintain cleanliness and orderliness
11. Maintains equipment used in performing duties
12. Acts as a Mandatory Reporter
