Job Summary:

1. Properly cleans and disinfects public areas, patient units, and outpatient departments.
2. Removes bulk trash, soiled linen, and regulated medical waste, following universal precautions.
3. Properly labels, stacks, and transports waste to designated holding areas.
4. Maintains all hard surfaces and floors through mopping, vacuuming, and dust mopping.
5. Sweeps, dusts, and mops stairwells as assigned.
6. Cleans utility rooms, loading docks, and supply areas.
7. Operates cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly.
8. Reports mechanical or building issues requiring work orders.
9. Follows hospital and safety policies, completes daily task worksheets, and performs other duties as assigned.
