A leading health care network in Michigan seeks a Housekeeper I Lead to maintain cleanliness and safety in hospital facilities. This full-time position involves cleaning, restocking, and ensuring quality standards while training new staff. Ideal candidates should have housekeeping experience and a high school diploma or GED.

HOUSEKEEPER I LEAD - FULL TIME - 1ST SHIFT
Position Summary:Maintains cleanliness of hospital facilities following hospital, departmental, and regulatory agency requirements.Responsible for providing a safe, sanitary environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Cleans and restocks all assigned areas according to departmental standards and guidelines.
Disposes of trash, biomedical and solid waste materials to appropriate disposal areas.
Prepares patient rooms for occupancy after patients are discharged.
Replaces supplies as needed.
Alerts supervisor of potential problems and safety hazards.
Lead Duties and Responsibilities
Assists in quality control and performance improvement activities.
Contributes to performance feedback, hiring decisions.
Ensures standards are met (quality, timeliness, customer service, etc.).
Evaluates and tests new procedures/processes.
Orients and/or trains new staff.
Required: N/A
Preferred:
· Six months housekeeping or maintenance experience.
· High school diploma or GED.
